Celebrity With Animal Name

This is my celebrity with animal name assignment. I began by choosing an image of the celebrity I wanted to turn into an animal, Bear Grylls. I took the image of him, and an image I found of a bear and began by using a low opacity eraser to discard parts of the bear I would not be needing. I then began fading the edges of the bears face so it would blend in with the background. Then, I choose which part of the humans face I wanted to stand out which happened to be the eyes. I then used a low opacity eraser to let the right eye shine through and used a brown paintbrush to cover up the bears other eye. Finally, I repeated the same steps to let the other eye stand out, and flattened the image.
So here is the official, Bear Grylls!

Scanned Felt Tip Drawing

This is my scanned felt tip drawing. I began this assignment by grabbing a piece of plain white paper as well as a black flair pen and pencil and began to sketch out a outline of what I wanted. I then traced it with the black flair pen and used a scanner to scan the image onto a flash drive, and then import it onto my computer desktop. I then inserted it into adobe photoshop elements ten and added color to make it look like a beaker full of letters. Finally I uploaded it to my blog.

Wake Me Up!

This is my comic strip called wake me up. It is inspired by the song called wake me up which I thought would be a funny story line to base my comic off of. I began by taking the pictures I needed for each line of lyrics and uploaded them to my computer. I then made a base layout of how my comic would begin and how the scenes would be placed. I then cut out the images to fit the way I wanted them to and added the paint i would need to adjust the images to my liking. Finally, I cut out the text boxes and added the lines of text from the song. I tricked you! That was not the final step the final step was that I posted my image to my blog!

Colored/Shaded Horrific Castle

This is my colored/shaded scene of choice. I began by adding these images into my photoshop image bar. Then I added some coloring and gradients to the creepy castle image to make it personalized. I then used a paintbrush in different opacities to create the faded affect on the entry way. Finally I created and added my characters to the scene.

Bird Coloring Page Assignment

This is my bird coloring page assignment. I found a picture of big bird on the internet and added it to a new blank document. I then took the image of flowers from Ms. Forrest's blog and used them to give the original black and white big bird photo a fake real bird look. I then added the final face colors and a gradient to the background. Finally, I flattened the image and added it to my semester one google photos folder.
This is my original big bird. I could not find the one I used as a base, so I used this image which is the same concept in a lower quality.

Kaleidoscope Assignment

This is my kaleidoscope assignment. I used the magic wand tool to highlight areas I wanted to color and used the paint bucked tool, gradient tool, solid pattern, and fill color tools to fill the space and make it look unique and cool. When I finished filling the space I flattened the image and uploaded it to my google photos semester one folder. I find this project to remind me a lot of a kaleidoscope, especially the pattern that is next to the yellow circle of flowers.

Where's Clementine?

This is my Where's Waldo assignment. I found lots of images that I liked and overlapped them until I was happy. I then made sure that my self where's waldo looked decent and tried sneeking it into the image by adding extra red and white stripes. Then I uploaded it to google photos and posted it to my blog.

Edward Dürer

This is my Edward Dürer assignment. I took a picture of a french bulldog because I love them, and used the magnetic lasso to move it into another file. Then I used the grayscale to make it black and white and adjusted it to my liking. I added the graphic pen and a filter I liked to make it look hand drawn. Finally, I posted it to this blog!

Edward Gorey Inspired

This is my take on the Edward Gorey assignment. I began by looking on the internet to find inspiration for this project. Then, I found some trees and took inspiration from them to create my own original tree with the paintbrush tool. I used the WACOM Pen Tablet to draw the little girl named Clementine (my name... hahaha). Then I added a mountain I saw in an image I was using for influence. Finally I used the cookie cutter tool to make the banner and added some Edward Gorey inspired text.

Celebrity Coloring Book Page

This is my celebrity coloring page! I used the paintbrush tool to make a contour drawing or outline of her body. I used a smaller size brush (1px) to give the sheet a more realistic look, as well as using the smaller brush to draw her facial features. Can you guess who it is?

Here is my celebrities original photo... It's Millie Bobby Brown!

Cartoon Yourself

This is my cartoon masterpiece. I used a picture of me, and then used the paintbrush tool to make a contour drawing of my body and important details of what I was wearing and what I looked like. I then used the paintbrush and dropper tools to find the perfect color matches of what I was wearing, my face, and hair. I then filled everything in and added depth with the smooth tool. Finally, I found an image of the Grand Canyon and used it as my background since it is my favorite place I have traveled to, and I deleted the original image.

This was my original image I used for my cartoon masterpiece.

Cartoon Masterpiece

This is my cartoon masterpiece. I used the painting "The Old Guitarist" by Da Vinci and added a picture of Eeyore. I traced Eeyore and his tail out using the magnetic lasso tool and used the paintbrush and dropper to find colors to help blend his head and tail into the body. Finally I did some touch ups by trying to eliminate the original head of the guitarist the best I could.
Here is the original image I used to make the rest of my cartoon masterpiece.

The Scream Part 2

This is me in Da Vinci's masterpiece "The Scream". I took my edited masterpiece and blurred the background so it was a little bit more blended out and added my face! You can see the image I used as a base for this project in my previous post called "The Scream".

The Scream!

This is my futuristic "The Scream" by Da Vinci. I used the paintbrush tool to outline the important areas of the masterpiece, then filled them in with some bright colors to catch your eyes. I then added gradients for some more dimension since basic colors made the piece look boring. Finally, I deleted the original image and posted it to this blog!
Above is the original image I used as a base of my assignment.

Mona Lisa

This is my take on the Mona Lisa assignment. I began with a contour drawing using the paintbrush tool, and added a picture of a pretty waterfall in the background. I attempted to make her look like a smurf by giving her blue skin and blonde hair.
